sure if you got tools only take off the battery cables first and then what ever you can to get to it some are easy some not so much but most anyone can do if they think about it...... and really they should have check it when they was checking the battery they use the same thing to check with.. jump it and have it check again

Audi TT not holding charge - battery is fine. How complicated it is to chk &/or change the alternator? DIY?
I just bought the car yesterday - 2001 225hp. Last night it stalled taking off from stop sign, then lost power and died. Battery has been checked by Auto Zone. They charged it. Car cranked up after installed. 1 hour later it won't start again. From some of these posts, sound like we should start with the alternator.
