I changed the bike from 6volt to 12volt, but the charging is still the same, and the battery keeps on running flat... please help??How can I change my bike%26039;s alternator-output from charging a 6volt Battery to charge a 12volt battery?
the coil in the alternator isn't large enough to produce 12 volts.
You will need a transformer before the regulator 2:1 ratio to boost the voltage from the alternator coil. You will also need a 12 volt regulator
