Find the charging system fuse. They go bad and the car won't work. Sometimes that fuse is in a queer place- not with the other fuses. um check the battery cables and make sure they are tight...also make sure battery is fully charged and test good......then start checking for shorts.....and u most likely blew the main fuse its under teh hood.......Im having electrical problems w/my ford taurus 2000 3.0L EFI 6cyl. My taurus was a 99 and had electrical problems. Windshield wipers would go crazy when I turned up the radio or air conditioner. All year. Friend's ranger had something to do with his lights. Think ford's from those years are just crap. You are lucky that thing is still running. Mine didn't make it past late 2003.
